https://www.unito.it/servizi/lo-studio/studenti-con-disturbi-specifici-di-apprendimento-dsa/supporto-agli-studenti-con

https://www.unito.it/servizi/lo-studio/studenti-con-disabilita

The exam will take place in presence.

The registration to exams via Esse3 within one week before the examination date is mandatory and indispensable. We will not accept registrations received via e-mail and we will not admit to the examinations not registered students. In addition, for a better organization of Computer Laboratories,  a student who registers to an exam and does not attend it without cancelling the registration or notifying the teachers via email will not be allowed to take the exam at the following scheduled date.

In order to take the exam, the student has to bring with him/her an ID (preferably University card) and know his/her own University login and password, that he/she will type on the computer to start the exam.

The exam consists in a preliminary test and two further tests (one on Calculus and the second on Statistics) which will be carried out using a computer.

During the exam students are not allowed to use electronic devices or lecture notes. They are just allowed to use the calculator available on the computer and the software R for the test of Statistics.

Preliminary test:

The preliminary test consists in answering to 5 questions which aim to verify the knowledge of basic notions and it lasts 20 minutes; to pass the preliminary test students must answer correctly to at least 4 questions over 5. The result is: passed or not passed and it is communicated to the student right after the conclusion of the test. Students who do not pass the preliminary test cannot access to the next tests.

Test of Calculus (theory and exercises):

This test concerns the topics treated during the modulus of Calculus; it consists in solving execises and answering to some theoretical questions. To pass this test students must obtain a mark of at least 17/32. If they do not pass this test they cannot give the test of Statistics.

Test of Statistics (theory and exercises):

This test concerns the topics treated during the modulus of Statistics; it consists in solving execises and answering to some theoretical questions. To pass this test students must obtain at least 17/32.

To pass the exam the average of the marks of the two tests (Calculus and Statistics) must be at least 18/32.

Students must carry out all the parts of the exam in the same day. If they do not pass one of the tests they have to repeat the whole exam.

The ON-LINE registration is mandatory in order to take the exam.
